Hidden away in a picturesque alley in the heart of Alonissos' old village lies House Alex – a place brimming with charm, tranquility, and Greek joie de vivre. Lovingly renovated, the house blends traditional architecture with modern comforts, inviting you to experience authentic island life.
Behind the small gate, a staircase leads up to the courtyard. A peaceful spot to relax in the shade during the day, it transforms into a vibrant gathering place in the evening: sharing meals, laughter, stories, and enjoying warm summer evenings under the open sky. From here, you enter the open-plan living and kitchen area. Light colors, natural materials, and a cozy atmosphere instantly create a feeling of home. The kitchen offers everything you need to prepare Mediterranean delicacies. A built-in bench and a small dining table invite you to enjoy breakfast, a glass of wine in the evening, and relaxing hours with family or friends. A modern shower room is also located on this level.
A stone staircase leads to the spacious, light-filled bedroom. The adjoining balcony offers breathtaking panoramic views stretching to the horizon: over the rooftops of the old village, the rolling pine-covered hills, and the deep blue sea and to the small islands of Peristera and Dio Adelphia.
Directly from the terrace, you can access the charming little studio with a daybed and a double-bed. The lower level also has its own private entrance to the alleyway – ideal for a bit of privacy.
House Alex is more than just accommodation – it's a place to arrive, breathe deeply, and feel at home. A home away from home where beautiful memories are made and time seems to stand still for a moment.
